The lips are an extremely sensitive area of the face. When they are soft and well moisturised, they can add to our charm in an extraordinary way. Lip care – why is it necessary?
As we mentioned, the lips are exposed to a number of factors that affect them negatively. Although the autumn and winter weather is particularly hard on them, it is not only the weather conditions that affect the state of the lips. Nutritional errors, smoking, lack of sufficient hydration – all these factors cause the epidermis to dry out. As a result, the lip skin loses its healthy colour and becomes wrinkled and flaky. What should lip care look like?
Regular moisturising is fundamental. As the skin in this area is delicate and thin, lip care must focus on effectively protecting the lips from drying out.
