EYE AREA CARE
Due to its structure, the skin around the eyes is affected by the passing of time much more quickly. Proper eye area care is a key point in anti-ageing prevention. Although it can be problematic, with our cosmetics you can easily and effectively take care of the condition of this delicate area and prolong the youthfulness of your eyes.
Why is eye area care important?
The skin around the eyes is thinner and much more delicate than the skin of the rest of the face. Therefore, eye area care requires not only different concentrations of ingredients but also gentler formulas of the cosmetics themselves. These delicate areas easily become dry, which results in the faster appearance of wrinkles and furrows. Many people develop unsightly puffiness or dark circles under the eyes, which make them look older and tired. This requires precise action, which is why eye area care focuses not only on preventing but also on alleviating these changes.
Eye area care – which products to choose?
Our eye area care cosmetics include creams, serums and eye pads. However, remember that proper eye area care starts with good make-up removal. So start by thoroughly cleansing your skin and eyelashes with one of our micellar waters (link).
If your skin is young and doesn't have special requirements, choose a cream that is primarily designed to moisturise well. But if you feel your skin is starting to dry out or you notice wrinkles forming, opt for a richer, more nourishing product with a tightening or regenerating effect. When puffiness appears around your eyes, use a roll-on product that additionally massages the skin. This way, you can enrich your skincare with light drainage.
In the morning or before an important outing, eye pads also work well to quickly smooth the skin and give it an energy boost.
When is eye area care needed?
How your skin works and at what rate it ages depends on many factors. Good eye area care can considerably slow down this process. We recommend that you incorporate a light, moisturising under-eye cream into your skincare routine already around the age of 20. This is important, especially if you spend a lot of time at the computer. After the age of 25, under-eye cream should become an integral part of every skincare routine.
