BRONZERS
Bronzers are cosmetics designed to give the skin a sun tan effect. Their main function is to add a warm tint to the skin, accentuate facial contours and create a healthy, radiant look. Properly selected bronzers can be used on any skin type. They work best in combination with other face contouring cosmetics.
Bronzers vs blushes
Although the two products are sometimes used interchangeably, bronzers and blushes have slightly different functions. With blushes, we can give the skin a fresh and healthy look and a natural-looking flush. Bronzers are primarily used to contour the shape of the face. Blushes and bronzers are applied to different parts of the face, and this means that we can use both of these products at the same time in our make-up.
Types of bronzer
Bronzers can come in various forms. The most common are:
- Cream bronzers – ideal for those who prefer a natural, fresh look. The creamy texture allows the product to be applied easily and evenly for a soft, radiant finish.
- Loose powder bronzers – perfect for lovers of light and concentrated pigments. They provide a subtle tanning effect and are easily applied in layers to achieve the desired colour intensity.
- Pressed powder bronzers – are convenient and easy to use. Pressed powder bronzers offer medium to intense pigmentation. They are long-lasting and give the skin a beautiful, healthy glow.
- How to apply bronzer?
To contour your face, apply bronzers along your jawline, under your cheekbone and on the sides of your nose. For a sun-kissed look, use bronzer on areas that naturally tan easily, such as the forehead. For a tanning effect, you can add a small amount of bronzer to your foundation and spread it evenly across your face.
