EYE PENCILS
Eye pencils are an indispensable tool in every make-up bag, allowing you to emphasise the sharpness to your gaze and create countless make-up effects. You can choose from classic pencils, gel pencils, 2-in-1 cosmetics or pencils with sponges. Eye pencils help to add character and depth to your eyes and transform your look in an instant.
What are eye pencils used for?
Eye pencils have many different uses. By drawing a line on your upper and lower eyelids, you can highlight your lashes. The right colour of eye pencil will help you to optically enlarge your eyes or make them more dramatic. You can also use pencils to emphasise the brow bone.
Eye pencil – types
The type of eye pencil that immediately springs to mind is the liner. It can be used to highlight both the upper and lower eyelids. Eye pencils range from soft pencils, which are easy to blend for a smoky eye effect, to hard pencils, with which you can create a sharper line. Black eye pencils are of course the most popular, but coloured pencils are gaining a growing fan base. Another type of pencils are gel pencils, which are very long-lasting and give an intense shade. You can use them to make both precise lines and, for example, illuminate the corners of the eyes. You can also choose from waterproof eye pencils, which are especially suitable for hot days and physical activity. We also offer pencils with a sponge, which makes it easier to blend the line precisely.
How to use eye pencils?
Using an eye pencil is not difficult. Place the tip of the pencil at the inner corner of the eye just above the lash line and run it along this line. If you tend to have a droopy eyelid, you can extend the line slightly beyond the lash line and point it slightly upwards, which visually opens up the eye. Although precise application of an eye pencil takes a little practice, we're sure you'll quickly get the hang of it and the pencil will become your favourite part of make-up.
